Vegetable tanned leather is one of the oldest and most traditional forms of leather tanning. Unlike chrome tanning, which uses chemicals, vegetable tanning uses natural tannins found in tree bark and plants. Care Instructions

Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid soaking or submerging in water.
For leather parts, apply a small amount of leather conditioner every few months to keep it supple.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
For wax canvas, re-waxing once a year will maintain water resistance and extend the life of the bag.
Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive cleaners.
