The Mason is the bag that goes everywhere with you — because some days, you need to carry it all. A wax canvas body built bigger than The Helms, with the same hand-set aluminum rivets and vegetable tanned leather handles that define the Urban Tannin Collection.

Vegetable tanned leather is one of the oldest and most traditional forms of leather tanning. Unlike chrome tanning, which uses chemicals, vegetable tanning uses natural tannins found in tree bark and plants. The result is a leather that is firm, durable, and develops a beautiful patina over time — growing richer and more personal with every use.

At Bagsmith & Co., we hand-select every piece of vegetable tanned leather for quality and character. No two bags are exactly alike — and that's exactly the point.

Care Instructions

Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid soaking or submerging in water.
For leather parts, apply a small amount of leather conditioner every few months to keep it supple.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
For wax canvas, re-waxing once a year will maintain water resistance and extend the life of the bag.
Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive cleaners.
