The Helms — Original Absolute is part of the Urban Tannin Collection — a workhorse with a soul.

Built to carry everything you need and look good doing it. The wax canvas body is tough enough for daily use. The vegetable tanned leather handles are set with hand-set heavy duty rivets. The iconic Bagsmith & Co. Original Absolute graphic print makes this tote as bold on the outside as it is functional on the inside.

Two handle options — hand carry at 4″ drop or shoulder carry at 9.5″ drop. Snap closure keeps everything secure.

Do You Know?

Vegetable tanned leather is one of the oldest and most traditional forms of leather tanning. Unlike chrome tanning, which uses chemicals, vegetable tanning uses natural tannins found in tree bark and plants. The result is a leather that is firm, durable, and develops a beautiful patina over time — growing richer and more personal with every use.

At Bagsmith & Co., we hand-select every piece of vegetable tanned leather for quality and character. No two bags are exactly alike — and that's exactly the point.

Care Instructions

  • Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid soaking or submerging in water.
  • For leather parts, apply a small amount of leather conditioner every few months to keep it supple.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
  • For wax canvas, re-waxing once a year will maintain water resistance and extend the life of the bag.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive cleaners.
